About the role#
Cemstone is hiring a Corporate Accounting Intern for Summer 2027. This part-time position is based on-site in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. You will work with our team to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Take on special projects to improve ERP integrity, reporting, and analytical capabilities.
- Perform business case analyses to find opportunities for operational efficiency.
- Recommend process improvements based on your findings.
- Provide support to management staff as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of general accounting principles.
- Ability to read and interpret financial statements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data-visualization platforms like Microsoft Power BI.
- Ability to calculate figures such as percentages, interest, commissions, and volume.
- Strong typing skills for both text and figures.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups or employees.
- Knowledge of accounting and spreadsheet software.
