About the role#
This internship provides a chance to work alongside experienced professionals in the insurance industry. You will contribute to real projects that support business growth, customer relationships, and risk management strategies. You will receive mentorship and guidance throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Learn underwriting fundamentals through hands-on training.
- Support business unit financial reporting and analysis.
- Assist with preparing financial and operational reports using business intelligence tools.
- Support pipeline management and underwriting operations.
- Participate in meetings with clients, brokers, and stakeholders.
- Review loss summaries and assist with account analysis.
- Gain exposure to customer and partner relationships.
What you'll need#
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior with two or more years of college coursework completed.
- Currently enrolled in a degree program and will be enrolled in the Fall of 2027.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to solve problems in a customer-focused environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience in leadership roles, campus organizations, or extracurricular activities.
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
