About the role#
Z Modular, part of the Zekelman Industries family, is looking for a Yardi Administrator Intern. You will support the administration and optimization of our property management technology platforms. This role helps ensure accurate property setup, system configuration, and daily support activities that keep multifamily operations running smoothly. You will work closely with the IT Applications team to assist with property onboarding, system maintenance, and ticket resolution.
What you'll do#
- Configure new properties, users, and system settings within Yardi platforms.
- Support property onboarding by entering and validating system data.
- Monitor and respond to Yardi support tickets with guidance from senior team members.
- Troubleshoot system and user issues, escalating complex concerns when necessary.
- Assist with data audits to maintain system accuracy.
- Support RENTCafé and related platform configurations.
- Collaborate with operational and business stakeholders to complete setup activities.
- Participate in system enhancement, testing, and implementation projects.
- Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting solutions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in technology administration, property management systems, or business applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Skill in analyzing problems and identifying practical solutions.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Previous exposure to Yardi, property management software, databases, or ERP systems is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- The program runs from May 24, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
- The role can be based on-site in Chandler, Arizona, or performed remotely.
