About the role#
Your Support Services Network is seeking a Student Volunteer to assist the Human Resources department. This part-time, on-site contract position runs through the summer of 2026. The role requires working 21 hours per week, scheduled across three days, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
What you'll do#
- Review and update interview templates and job descriptions.
- Review and update agency policies.
- Conduct research regarding performance development.
- Assist the team with recruitment and onboarding processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or graduation from a Business College or Human Resources program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task.
- Strong written and verbal skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Successful completion of a police clearance that meets agency standards.
- Proof of a primary series of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized by the World Health Organization, or a valid exemption based on Human Rights Code grounds.
