About the role#
Student Staff II roles provide field ministry experience and training. You will learn how to participate in and lead effective ministry through direct engagement. This position is designed for individuals currently pursuing a college degree who want to grow in their ministry skills.
What you'll do#
- Develop a yearly personal growth plan.
- Participate in the spiritual life of the Young Life community.
- Meet regularly with volunteer leaders and area leadership.
- Recruit and train new leaders.
- Raise financial support and maintain donor care practices.
- Engage in all three levels of contact work.
- Conduct Young Life club and Campaigners discipleship ministry.
- Implement summer and school-season camping strategies.
- Assist with office administration and complete expense reports.
- Adhere to all Young Life policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a college degree.
- You possess proven relational skills with both kids and adults.
- You demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
- You have the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- You profess a belief in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord.
- You subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith.
