About the role#
Young Life Military is seeking interns to serve at U.S. military installations. You will work alongside experienced staff to support Club Beyond, an outreach-oriented ministry for military teens. This is a full-time, paid position where you will gain experience in leadership, ministry operations, and community engagement.
What you'll do#
- Meet weekly with supervising staff using Club Beyond agenda tools.
- Participate in a leadership team to conduct club and small group ministry.
- Develop a 90-day personal growth plan.
- Attend Chapel on installation and participate in volunteer leader meetings.
- Meet weekly with a volunteer to discuss their involvement.
- Learn to recruit and train new leaders while building a leadership team.
- Discuss financial support raising with your supervisor and communicate monthly updates to your donor partners.
- Develop community outreach for unchurched teens and provide discipleship to believing teens.
- Lead and equip volunteers for middle and high school Christian youth ministry.
What you'll need#
- You must have graduated high school at least 2 years ago.
- A deep love for Christ and for teens.
- A teachable heart and strong initiative.
- Ability to communicate clearly.
- Energy and skills in small event planning.
- Commitment to a relational ministry approach.
- Willingness to raise part of the budget through personal support.

- This role is based in Florida, United States.
- Work is on-site at a military installation.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with rolling start dates.
- You will be expected to live near the community where you serve.
