About the role#
The Golf Operations department at Yellowstone Club is hiring a PGA Intern for the Summer 2027 season. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Big Sky, Montana. You will work closely with the professional golf staff to support daily operations and ensure a high level of service for members and guests.
What you'll do#
- Aid in the scheduling and training of Outside Operations Attendants and caddie staff.
- Assist with annual golf tournaments and special events.
- Help the Golf Shop Retail Supervisor with retail operations and shop maintenance.
- Serve as a daily starter and monitor for member and guest play.
- Complete PGA testing according to the timeline set by the Director of Golf.
- Assist with the usage and scheduling of the golf simulator.
What you'll need#
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- Current enrollment in the PGA Apprentice Program.
- At least two years of customer service experience, ideally in a golf setting.
- Knowledge of USGA rules, handicap and course rating systems, and golf swing mechanics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate clearly with staff, vendors, and members.
- A valid drivers license that meets company insurance requirements.
