    About the role#

    This is a temporary position for nursing students to practice in various nursing areas. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to perform direct and indirect patient care. This role is full-time with a night shift schedule.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist the registered nurse with direct patient care and activities of daily living.
    • Observe, record, and report patient symptoms, concerns, and progress to the RN.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment to support infection control.
    • Assist with patient examinations and procedures.
    • Serve as a patient sitter when assigned by the charge nurse.

    What you'll need#

    • You must be entering the final semester or year of a Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate nursing program at an accredited school.
    • Ability to obtain Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of your start date.
    • Physical capability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
    • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push or pull heavy loads.
