About the role#
We are looking for an intern to join our Eden Prairie office for our 2027 program. This role focuses on building skills in PLC, SCADA, and HMI programming through process automation projects. You will gain exposure to industrial software applications, GMP, GAMP5, and system integration. This is a paid, part-time position.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and implement control system logic software to meet machine and integrated system requirements.
- Create control logic software and user interface applications.
- Help debug integrated systems and prepare system documentation.
- Work on automation and control system integration projects for clients in the pharma and biotech sectors.
- Adhere to the scope, quality, schedule, and budget requirements of your assigned tasks.
- Build collaborative partnerships with your colleagues.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate status with an interest in a career in Controls Engineering.
- A BS in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering is preferred.
- Understanding of or exposure to control systems, including components and programming, is a plus.
- Understanding of or exposure to instrumentation and controls design is helpful.
