About the role#
As a Business Intelligence Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by working with data, analytics, and reporting tools. You will collaborate with teams across the organization to transform complex information into insights that drive business decisions. This role involves supporting strategic initiatives and contributing to projects that improve how we work.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and maintenance of interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support business objectives.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
- Assist with data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data accessibility and reporting efficiency.
- Document reporting processes, business requirements, and data definitions.
- Support ongoing analytics projects and contribute to the automation of recurring reports.
- Present findings and recommendations to team members clearly.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools is considered an asset.
