About the role#
The Insights, Strategy & Analytics team at Sony Pictures Entertainment supports creative development and content strategy for our US TV studio. We are looking for a Product Management Data Science Intern to join our team for the Fall 2026 term. You will work on tool and application development, focusing on predictive models and AI-driven workflows to support TV production teams.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of internal dashboards and tools used by TV production teams.
- Document product requirements and prioritize feature development.
- Write clear, structured technical documentation for systems and workflows.
- Assist with prompt engineering and testing for AI-driven tools.
- Evaluate datasets to determine quality, usability, and business relevance.
- Help design and execute user acceptance testing and gather feedback.
- Translate business needs into specific data product use cases.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in product management, data products, and the media industry.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Basic understanding of SQL or Python.
- Strong written communication skills for technical documentation.
- Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Location: Culver City, California.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 8 or 14 through December 11, 2026).
- Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Part-time, 10-29 hours per week.
- Compensation: $19 per hour.
