About the role#
This internship is part of the Insights, Research & Analytics team. You will support the development of data-driven tools and predictive models that assist our TV production teams. This role focuses on product management within a data science context, helping to bridge the gap between technical teams and creative workflows.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain dashboards and internal tools to streamline production workflows and budgets.
- Document product requirements and help prioritize features alongside data scientists and engineers.
- Write technical documentation for data products and workflows.
- Assist with prompt engineering and testing for AI-driven tools.
- Evaluate datasets to ensure they meet quality and business needs.
- Design and execute user acceptance testing to gather feedback for feature iteration.
- Translate business goals into specific data product requirements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or Python.
- Strong written communication skills for technical documentation.
- Interest in product management, media, and entertainment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Location & details#
- Location: Culver City, California.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 8 or 14 through December 11, 2026).
- Modality: On-site, part-time (10-29 hours per week).
- Compensation: $19 per hour.
