About the role#
Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking interns for the Sports Growth Strategy and Data team for the Fall 2026 term. This program provides hands-on experience in the media and sports industry, focusing on data processes, strategy, and business operations. Interns will be considered for multiple opportunities within this area, such as TNT Sports BI Analyst, Growth and Innovation, or WBD Sports Growth Strategy Engineer roles.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate current data processes and pipelines to identify gaps or potential enhancements.
- Collaborate with the TNT Sports Data Strategy team to document and align data requirements and business logic.
- Familiarize yourself with the technology platforms used by the WBD Sports Data Strategy team.
- Gain knowledge of various sports brands and business units, such as Bleacher Report and NCAA-related properties.
What you'll need#
- Must be a rising Junior or rising Senior undergraduate student enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Possess a strong passion for sports.
- Prior experience in data strategy is considered a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Majors of interest include Data Science, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Communications, Computer Science, Psychology, and Media Studies.
Location & details#
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Term: Fall 2026 (October 12th to December 18th).
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with expectations to work 16-24 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
