About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship within our Power and Energy group. You will work on-site for a 12-week program starting in May 2027. You will gain exposure to real projects while working alongside senior staff and participating in our Developing Professionals Network for mentorship and networking.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
- Support the preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
- Help collect and maintain project documentation.
- Complete training on assigned tasks.
- Learn basic principles of electrical engineering and develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an accredited Electrical Engineering or related undergraduate program.
- An anticipated graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office software, and spreadsheets.
- Ability to follow direction from leadership and mentors.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $22.17 - $32.22 per hour.
