About the role#
The Maintenance Intern position provides professional development through on-the-job experience within the Maintenance Department. This role focuses on supporting maintenance planning and inventory management functions at our manufacturing facility.
What you'll do#
- Manage the Tool Crib implementation process.
- Enter and quote parts into the inventory management system.
- Store and organize incoming parts.
- Perform administrative and clerical duties to assist the Maintenance Planner.
- Maintain records and compile information for management use.
- Respond to inquiries to provide information and direction.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or Operations Management.
- Excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to manage electronic records and perform multiple technical tasks.
- Capacity to juggle several assignments independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with internal and external groups.
