About the role#
Worthington Steel is seeking a Maintenance Intern to support the Maintenance Department through administrative, clerical, and inventory management tasks. This role provides on-the-job training and exposure to maintenance support functions within a manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Manage the implementation of the Tool Crib.
- Enter and quote parts within the inventory management system.
- Store and organize incoming parts.
- Assist the Maintenance Planner with daily operations and administrative tasks.
- Maintain records and compile information for management use.
- Respond to inquiries to provide information or direction.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with groups and individuals.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple technical tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work independently to complete assignments.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

- Location: Valley City, Ohio.
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
