About the role#
World Relief is seeking an Administrative Support Intern to provide systems and data assistance to our Education team in Sacramento. This role offers an opportunity to learn how resettlement agencies operate and how non-profits manage educational programming for refugees and immigrants. You will gain hands-on experience with data platforms and tracking systems while supporting our daily office operations.
What you'll do#
- Manage client case files and databases to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
- Use tracking systems to verify that all required processes and documents are completed on time.
- Use tools like Mail Merge and macros to improve paperwork efficiency.
- Compile learning materials and resources for program participants.
- Prepare monthly attendance letters, graduation certificates, and related event materials.
- Provide general administrative support and assist with special projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Strong spoken and written English skills.
- Extreme attention to detail and high levels of organization.
- Ability to navigate digital platforms, databases, and the Microsoft Office Suite with confidence.
- A minimum typing speed of 50 WPM.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Commitment to professionalism and client confidentiality.
- Majors in Business Administration, Sociology, or related fields are preferred.
