About the role#
Woolpert is hiring a Site Civil Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring 40 hours of work per week. You will join our civil engineering team to assist with design projects and site assessments. Please note that we cannot provide visa sponsorship for this role.
What you'll do#
- Design and create site layout plans that meet client requirements.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
- Collaborate with project managers to identify project impediments and implement solutions.
- Conduct pavement assessments.
- Compile data and prepare reports.
- Participate in occasional field work and travel, including overnight trips as necessary.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Civil Engineering.
- Zero to two years of related experience.
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Experience in hydraulics and hydrology is preferred.
