About the role#
The Environmental Internship is part of the Woodside USA Early Career Pathways initiative. You will work within the Health, Safety, and Environment organization to support environmental stewardship and regulatory priorities across our U.S. business. This role provides hands-on experience alongside experienced professionals, offering exposure to our operating environment, safety culture, and environmental management systems.
What you'll do#
- Support environmental compliance, emissions, and sustainability initiatives.
- Assist with environmental data, reporting, and risk assessment.
- Participate in activities involving permitting, waste management, water management, and biodiversity.
- Contribute to projects focused on operational environmental performance.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Sustainability, or Environmental Health.
- Rising junior or senior status with an expected graduation date between Spring 2028 and Spring 2029.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30.
- Availability for at least twelve consecutive weeks during Summer 2027.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
