About the role#
The HSE Aviation Summer Internship is part of the Early Career Pathways initiative. You will work alongside professionals in aviation, engineering, technology, and operations. This role provides hands-on experience within the Health, Safety & Environment organization to support safety, risk, and assurance.
What you'll do#
- Support aviation safety, operational risk, technology, and assurance efforts.
- Contribute to projects focused on risk management and aviation safety.
- Analyze safety data to assist with human factors, emergency preparedness, and regulatory requirements.
- Explore the use of robotics, automation, and digital tools for aviation and operational tasks.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aviation Safety, Aviation Management, Aviation Science, Safety Management, Robotics, Human Factors/Ergonomics, or Occupational Health & Safety.
- Rising junior or senior status with an expected graduation between Spring 2028 and Spring 2029.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30.
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
