    About the role#

    The Project Engineering student will join the CORE group in St. John's for the Winter 2027 semester. This team manages the repair and maintenance of the Hibernia Platform, focusing on asset integrity and extending the operational life of the facility. You will assist with remediation plans based on inspection reports and condition assessments.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide daily support to a team of engineers and technical professionals.
    • Assist with planning and job readiness for offshore execution, including material and equipment needs.
    • Collaborate with discipline engineers to develop repair plans and engineering deliverables.
    • Help develop budgets, cost estimates, and project schedules.
    • Track project readiness from offshore execution through to final closeout.
    • Coordinate project closeout activities.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a University Engineering co-op program.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and technical communication skills.
    • Strong safety orientation and a team-focused approach to quality.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Capability to interact with multidiscipline personnel, including procurement, construction, subcontractors, and clients.
    • An innovative problem-solving mindset.
    • Knowledge of offshore and oil and gas operations is preferred.
