About the role#
The Procurement Intern will support the team across sourcing, supplier management, spend analysis, and operational tasks. This role provides hands-on exposure to the procurement lifecycle and the opportunity to work with cross-functional stakeholders while developing analytical and project management skills.
What you'll do#
- Support procurement and sourcing projects including market research, supplier identification, and RFP/RFQ activities.
- Assist with collecting and analyzing spend, supplier, pricing, and contract data.
- Support supplier negotiations by preparing pricing comparisons and benchmarks.
- Maintain procurement trackers, supplier information, contract records, and reporting dashboards.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Legal, and IT to support procurement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship based in New York, NY.
- The role follows a hybrid work model requiring 3 days per week in the office.
- Compensation is $36.00 per hour.
