    About the role#

    As a Sourcing Associate Intern, you will gain experience in procurement, supplier management, and category analysis. You will work with the merchant team to support supplier evaluation, cost analysis, and sustainability initiatives. This role involves balancing quality, cost, and operational efficiency.

    What you'll do#

    • Identify and evaluate new suppliers for produce, proteins, dairy, and specialty ingredients.
    • Collect and analyze data for cost modeling, supplier performance, and market trends.
    • Participate in RFP processes and vendor onboarding.
    • Monitor supplier compliance with food safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
    • Conduct benchmarking research on commodity pricing and competitive sourcing strategies.
    • Collaborate with Culinary, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to align sourcing decisions with business needs.
    • Prepare reports and presentations to summarize findings for leadership.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Food Science, Business, or a related field.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

    Location & details#

    • This position is based in Parsippany, New Jersey.
    • The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days per week in the office.
    • This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
    • Wonder does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
