About the role#
Winnebago Industries is seeking a Human Resources Intern to support our team in Sarasota. This role offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. You will work directly with HR and business leaders on projects that support our employees and company growth.
What you'll do#
- Assist with recruiting activities, such as scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
- Help organize employee events, recognition activities, and engagement initiatives.
- Support HR projects involving new policy creation and implementation or HRIS system updates.
- Maintain employee records and HR data while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Create presentations, reports, and employee communication materials.
- Conduct research on HR trends, programs, and best practices.
- Support day-to-day HR operations and special projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A high level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
