About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will support our engineering group with design work, documentation improvements, and product development tasks that integrate directly into our production workflow. You will contribute to the systems and components that support our energy technology.
What you'll do#
- Audit, organize, and modernize our existing CAD library to ensure engineering accuracy.
- Apply redline corrections to mechanical drawings to reflect current production and engineering changes.
- Create 3D models and production-ready 2D drawings for thermal and electrical subsystems.
- Review mechanical drawings for consistency, accuracy, GD&T use, and formatting.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or comparable 3D CAD software.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing standards, orthographic projection, and GD&T.
- High attention to detail and a focus on engineering accuracy.
- Enthusiasm for improving engineering processes and solving technical challenges.
- A proactive approach and a desire to learn from experienced engineers.

- This is an on-site role based in Clearwater, Florida.
- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
