About the role#
We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to work directly with our engineering and manufacturing teams in Clearwater. This role focuses on hands-on lab work with lithium battery systems. You will move beyond theory to see how hardware is built, tested, and improved for real-world use.
What you'll do#
- Assist with hands-on testing and validation.
- Set up, run, and document lab tests under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in hardware troubleshooting and failure analysis.
- Act as a technical resource in the lab during development and testing phases.
- Help oversee and execute specific tests.
- Observe how electrical designs perform outside of simulations.
- Create clear documentation for our manufacturing team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS or MS program for Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A genuine interest in power electronics, battery systems, or hardware development.
- Comfort working in a lab setting and a preference for learning by doing.
- A detail-oriented mindset with the curiosity to investigate failures and ask questions.
- Familiarity with PCBs, schematics, wiring, or test equipment is a plus.
