About the role#
Wing is looking for a North American Logistics Systems Intern to join our Forward Logistics and Global Transportation team in Palo Alto. You will design and develop software solutions to support our rapid metro expansion. By using Google Gemini AI models and modern development practices, you will transform logistics operations and improve visibility across our distribution network.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, and deploy an integrated, AI-powered Transportation Management System (TMS) portal to optimize regional logistics.
- Develop an automated inbound scheduling tool using Google Gemini AI to streamline dock operations and supply chain intake.
- Create a real-time operational metrics dashboard for end-to-end visibility across our North American distribution network.
- Collaborate with cross-functional logistics and engineering teams to refine supply chain operations.
- Build an AI-powered shipping portal to supplement the TMS and support logistics workflows.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Experience with software development and coding in Python, Java, or C++ applied to logistics or supply chain problems.
- Hands-on project experience or coursework involving AI/ML models, such as LLMs or Google Gemini, and data analytics for dashboarding or process optimization.
- Understanding of transportation management systems, inbound scheduling workflows, or distribution network logistics.
