About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship running for 10 weeks from early June to mid-August 2027. You will work on-site at one of our plants in either Fremont, Nebraska, or Eagle Grove, Iowa. This role offers hands-on experience across various marketing functions, including internal and external communications, employee branding, and the development of creative concepts.
What you'll do#
- Create corporate communications and marketing materials for Wholestone Prestage and our producer-owners.
- Collaborate with various business units to support organizational goals.
- Develop and execute creative concepts across multiple marketing platforms.
- Manage tasks related to employee branding.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college Junior or Senior.
- A degree or major in Marketing, Agribusiness, or an equivalent field.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the majority cultural language to communicate effectively.
- Ability to interpret documents, including financials, graphs, procedure manuals, and governmental regulations.
- Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, percentages, and discounts.
- Ability to write business correspondence, reports, and policies.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Basic computer knowledge and office skills, such as typing and phone communication.
- Ability to use common sense and judgment to solve problems.
