About the role#
WGI is hiring an intern for the Transportation Structures team for the Summer 2027 term. This paid internship provides hands-on experience with real projects for private and public clients. You will work in a collaborative environment that bridges the gap between classroom education and professional work.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members across various departments on challenging projects.
- Contribute to team projects and individual tasks assigned to your discipline.
- Follow company policies and guidelines while maintaining punctuality and dependability.
- Take on additional responsibilities based on your experience.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years at an accredited college in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to adapt to varied work environments, including indoor, outdoor, and project site locations.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or Microstation is a plus.
- Current authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Please note that we do not offer visa sponsorship.

- Locations available: Tampa, FL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; and Raleigh, NC.
