About the role#
WGI is hiring a Civil Intern for the summer of 2027 in Houston, Texas. This paid internship offers hands-on experience with real projects for both private and public clients. You will work alongside our civil team to connect your academic studies with professional engineering practice.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members across various departments on challenging projects.
- Complete individual tasks and contribute to team assignments within the civil discipline.
- Follow company policies and guidelines while maintaining a punctual and dependable schedule.
- Take on additional responsibilities based on your experience level.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years of study from an accredited college in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work in varied environments, including office settings, outdoors, and at project sites.
- Current authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or Microstation is a plus.

- This is an on-site position based in Houston, Texas.
- The internship is for the Summer 2027 term.
