About the role#
WGI is hiring a Structural Intern for the Summer 2027 term in Austin, Texas. This paid internship provides hands-on experience on real projects for both private and public clients. You will work alongside our team to bridge the gap between your academic studies and professional engineering practice.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members across various departments on structural projects.
- Complete individual tasks assigned to your discipline.
- Follow company policies and guidelines while maintaining a punctual and dependable schedule.
- Take on additional responsibilities based on your experience and project needs.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years of study from an accredited college in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Current authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work in varied environments, including office settings, outdoors, and at project sites.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation is a plus.
