    About the role#

    As an Instrumentation & Control System Engineering Intern, you will join our team to help develop technical products and systems. You will report to the Plant Computer Senior Manager at our Huntsville facility. This is a full-time, paid internship for the summer of 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Create hardware design documentation including cabinet layout drawings, cable and wiring schematics, and system architecture drawings.
    • Assist with the manufacturing and testing of new plant computer and annunciator systems.
    • Help develop system and hardware design specifications.
    • Prepare documentation for procurement and manufacturing processes.
    • Resolve technical issues, including those related to component obsolescence.
    • Write test procedures and perform functional tests.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Electrical Engineering.
    • Completion of your Sophomore year of college.

    • Location: Huntsville, Alabama.
    • Modality: Hybrid.
    • Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
    • Compensation: $25.40 to $29.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
