About the role#
As a Computer Engineering Intern, you will work on the development, testing, verification, and maintenance of software and digital systems for the nuclear industry. You will report to a department manager and collaborate with engineering and IT teams. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Develop and test software applications and tools.
- Support system integration and verification activities.
- Assist with coding, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in software validation and testing.
- Maintain technical documentation.
- Support cybersecurity and secure coding projects.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Completion of your sophomore year of college.
- Experience with programming concepts.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle principles.
Location & details#
- Locations: Cranberry Township, Warrendale, Blairsville, or New Stanton, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Work Modality: Hybrid or on-site.
- Compensation: $25.40 to $29.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
