About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will work with experienced engineers to support the development, analysis, testing, and implementation of systems and components for nuclear power generation projects. You will report to a department manager and contribute to real-world engineering solutions.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering design and analysis activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, reports, and calculations.
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
- Support the resolution of engineering and manufacturing issues.
- Conduct engineering evaluations and research activities.
- Support testing and validation efforts.
- Collaborate with project teams.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Completed your sophomore year of college.
Location & details#
- Locations: Cranberry Township, Warrendale, Blairsville, or New Stanton, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
- Work Modality: Hybrid or on-site.
- Compensation: $25.40 to $29.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
