About the role#
As a Field Services Student Technician on the Steam Generator team, you will support the Inspection Service Business. You will work on manual and robotic inspections and component cleaning services. You will report to the Manager of Remote Delivery and Robotics at the Waltz Mill facility.
What you'll do#
- Work with technicians and engineers on inspection tooling.
- Prepare tools for teams deployed to outages.
- Disassemble, clean, decontaminate, inspect, install, repair, and assemble mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment.
- Complete training on radiation safety, hazard communication, and rigging.
- Practice Human Performance Tools, INPO principles, Industrial Health and Safety, and ALARA principles.
- Follow security and license requirements.
- Manage assigned tasks with minimal oversight.
What you'll need#
- Current student status and at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
- A valid driver's license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

- Role is based in Madison, Pennsylvania.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid position.
- The pay is $18 per hour.
