About the role#
The HR Intern will support the HR Operations team with onboarding, data management, and reporting. You will assist with coordinating new hire activities, maintaining employee records, and helping with internal communications. This role provides administrative support across various HR functions to ensure efficient operations.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including pre-boarding tasks and orientation scheduling.
- Prepare and maintain onboarding materials, checklists, and process documentation.
- Verify work authorization for new hires and current employees.
- Provide administrative assistance to new hires throughout their onboarding period.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and review data for consistency.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and data summaries to support decision-making.
- Assist with mentor program coordination and tracking.
- Contribute to the HR newsletter by drafting content and gathering updates.
- Support routine HR audits, documentation updates, and process improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of IT systems and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
