    About the role#

    Web Industries is hiring an Engineering Intern for our Fort Wayne facility. You will work under the direction of the Engineering Manager to support our manufacturing operations. This role involves collaborating with teams across the plant, including operations, quality, and sales. Successful completion of this internship may lead to future permanent employment as a process engineer.

    What you'll do#

    • Coordinate and implement manufacturing improvement projects.
    • Document manufacturing procedures and establish best practices.
    • Provide daily technical support for key production equipment.
    • Perform data analysis to solve problems.
    • Offer general engineering support throughout the plant.
    • Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe work environment.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a B.S. degree program for Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
    • Completion of at least 3 years of college coursework.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to manage complex tasks and prioritize work effectively.
    • U.S. citizenship is required to comply with export regulations.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship located in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
    • The position follows a rolling application term.
