About the role#
This internship focuses on the SysEng Commercialization team. You will build the infrastructure and diagnostic pipelines needed to keep our vehicle fleets moving. You will work on software that helps triage engineers unblock issues in real-time and ensures our depot operations scale reliably.
What you'll do#
- Design and optimize low-latency data pipelines using C++ and SQL to process real-time depot telemetry.
- Build a modern, responsive frontend dashboard to visualize operations data.
- Work with triage engineers and operations staff to gather requirements and iterate on your designs.
- Write maintainable code using test-driven development, integration testing, and team code reviews.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Experience writing efficient data transformation pipelines with C++ and SQL.
- Ability to convert backend data streams into user-centric visualizations.
- A strong grasp of integration testing and system reliability.
- Familiarity with data streaming, distributed systems, or low-latency processing.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles for data visualization and operational oversight.
- Experience working directly with end-users to collect feedback and iterate on features.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based in San Francisco, California.
- This position follows a hybrid work model.
