About the role#
As a Data & Tech Transformation intern, you will work with the Walmart Fuel team within Walmart Realty. This role focuses on turning complex business questions and data into useful insights and tools. You will analyze data, identify trends, and work with cross-functional partners to improve how information is organized and used to support business decisions. This position is for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies, and connecting analytical findings to business outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and support data-driven decisions.
- Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends and patterns that support Fuel strategy.
- Clean, organize, and transform data from multiple sources to improve quality and usability.
- Build dashboards, visualizations, and business intelligence solutions that simplify complex information.
- Identify ways to streamline reporting, automate processes, and improve analytical efficiency.
- Translate analytical findings into clear business recommendations for stakeholders and leadership.
- Own projects from initial problem definition through analysis, solution development, and final presentation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in data analytics, data science, business analytics, information systems, computer science, finance, economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience using spreadsheets to analyze and communicate information.
- Ability to manage responsibilities, meet deadlines, and learn new tools.
- Coursework or experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or business strategy.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Experience with dashboards, visualizations, or analytical models.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Bentonville, Arkansas.
