About the role#
We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager Intern to support our construction projects in Orlando. You will work alongside the project manager to handle daily operations across the project lifecycle. This role covers tasks from initial estimating and contract review to final project closeout.
What you'll do#
- Support the project manager with contract review and project setup in our software.
- Analyze project schedules and track progress.
- Manage the submittal process, including logs and vendor distribution.
- Maintain construction documents like drawings, specifications, and requests for information.
- Handle change management and assist with estimating project changes.
- Coordinate the procurement of materials.
- Oversee project closeout and create maintenance and operation manuals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate degree program or higher in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related construction field.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Procore.
- Experience managing resources such as budgets, schedules, and materials.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen and write clearly.
- A dependable, professional, and organized approach to your work.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and sit at a desk for extended periods.

- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Orlando, Florida.
- We offer rolling start dates.
