About the role#
We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager Intern to support our team in Tallahassee. You will work across the full project lifecycle, from initial design and estimating to final closeout. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Help the project manager with contract reviews and project setup in our software.
- Analyze project schedules and track progress.
- Manage the submittal process, which includes setting up logs, reviewing documents, and distributing information to vendors.
- Maintain and distribute construction documents like drawings and specifications.
- Support change management and assist with material procurement.
- Handle estimating for project changes or work outside the original scope.
- Lead the project closeout process, including the creation of maintenance and operation manuals.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an associate degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- You have a High School Diploma or GED.
- You are proficient in Procore and Microsoft Office.
- You have experience managing resources like budgets, schedules, and materials.
- You possess strong communication and listening skills.
- You are organized, punctual, and maintain a positive attitude.
- You must be able to sit at a desk for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
