About the role#
We are looking for an intern to join our team for a 10-week program during the summer of 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in business development, market research, and strategic growth initiatives within the defense and space manufacturing industry. This is a full-time, paid position that offers exposure to professional development and mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Support the team with market research, opportunity identification, and analysis of potential customers and partners.
- Build and organize business development materials, including presentations, research summaries, and proposals.
- Track and manage business opportunities and relevant market data.
- Participate in internal, customer, and partner meetings to learn about growth activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned projects.
- Contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency and support business growth.
- Complete all deliverables accurately and on schedule.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited university, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, or Engineering.
- A demonstrated interest in growth strategy, market research, or business development.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn new tools, processes, and industries.
- Previous experience through coursework, internships, or academic projects is preferred.
- Ability to travel for an in-person orientation and a final presentation at the end of the program.
- You must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or a protected individual to comply with U.S. government export regulations.

- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027).
- Modality: On-site.
- Locations: Houston, Texas; Long Beach, California; or Denver, Colorado.
- Compensation: $23.50 to $30.00 per hour, depending on academic year, major, and location.
