About the role#
The Rotational Field Engineer manages technical operations in the field. You will work on-site or in remote locations to ensure that equipment, systems, and processes function as intended. This role reports to the Operations Engineering Manager.
What you'll do#
- Respond to technical faults, emergencies, and performance issues at customer sites.
- Perform troubleshooting to identify root causes of technical problems.
- Install, configure, and commission equipment according to project specifications.
- Conduct field tests, inspections, and evaluations of system performance.
- Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and equipment documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers.
- Maintain safety standards and identify potential hazards on-site.
- Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and other engineers.
- Find ways to optimize processes and reduce operational costs.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Petroleum Engineering.
- Technical knowledge and hands-on experience with relevant industry systems.
- Proficiency in installation, maintenance, and testing procedures.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems under time constraints.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior field operations experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with remote work environments and safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid position.
- The role requires extensive travel and the ability to relocate.
- You must be available to work non-standard hours or participate in on-call rotations.
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
