About the role#
As a Data Warehouse College Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with database administration, reporting, and automation within a financial services environment. You will work alongside our technology team to see how data systems support business operations and member services. This is a paid, part-time position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support SQL Server administration tasks like query performance tuning, index management, and job monitoring.
- Assist with report modernization, data warehouse support, and identifying automation opportunities.
- Use tools including SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services, and PowerShell.
- Learn about database patching, server configuration, and optimization practices.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, document your work, and contribute to ongoing projects.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current college student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- We look for coursework or a strong interest in databases, SQL Server, PowerShell, reporting, data management, or programming.
- You should have strong curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new processes.
- We value the ability to organize information, ask thoughtful questions, and communicate clearly.
- You must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- This role is on-site at our locations in Endwell, NY, Saddle Brook, NJ, or Temple, PA.
- You must be a current college student during the Spring 2027 semester.
- Your college or university must be located in the Binghamton, NY, Saddle Brook, NJ, or Muhlenberg, PA areas, or their surrounding regions.
