About the role#
The Human Resources Intern supports the HR team with administrative and employee-related tasks. You will gain hands-on experience in HR operations while ensuring that processes remain organized and accurate. This role requires a dependable individual who can handle confidential information with professionalism.
What you'll do#
- Support new-hire onboarding and orientation processes.
- Prepare HR-related documents, reports, forms, and correspondence.
- Assist with employee engagement activities, company events, and internal communications.
- Aid HR staff in ensuring policies, procedures, and documentation are followed.
- Work on special HR projects, research, data entry, and other initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and company information.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a degree-seeking student on at least a half-time basis.
- Preferred majors include Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or Psychology.
- Basic understanding of HR principles, recruitment, onboarding, and personnel administration.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate professionally with employees, candidates, and management.
- Previous experience in HR, administration, or customer service is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is helpful.
- A valid driver's license is required for agency business.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a NASA credential.
