About the role#
The Graduate Management Summer Associate program provides professional-level staff assistance in strategy, operations, and financial work. You will work directly with senior leadership, including the Senior Director of Strategy, COO, CTO, and CFO. This role is designed to provide on-the-job training for higher-level management responsibilities through project-based work.
What you'll do#
- Support corporate strategy development and multi-year strategic planning.
- Assist with business process development and operations forecasting.
- Conduct budget forecasting and multi-year budget planning.
- Perform financial analysis, including pricing and cost structures.
- Support organizational and enterprise risk management.
- Conduct market analysis.
- Work with senior leadership to identify key business success metrics.
- Collaborate with operating teams to turn metrics into actionable insights.
- Conduct regular meetings with the Senior Director of Strategy to track work progress.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, business, or a financial discipline.
- Active status in an MBA-accredited program or a similar graduate degree program.
- Degree-seeking student status at an accredited institution on at least a half-time basis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of business management practices, public administration, budgeting, and accounting.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
- Ability to obtain and maintain eligibility for a federal agency credential.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.

- You must be able to transport yourself between the Norfolk headquarters and the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport facilities.
