About the role#
The Financial Analyst Intern supports our finance and accounting teams by analyzing data, preparing reports, and contributing to business decisions. This role offers practical experience in budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement. You will work on cross-functional projects, collaborate with team members, and gain exposure to financial systems and tools.
What you'll do#
- Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to identify trends.
- Support the preparation of financial forecasts and variance reports.
- Gather, validate, and reconcile financial data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy.
- Create financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Identify process inefficiencies and help automate manual reporting tasks.
- Evaluate the financial impact of business decisions and conduct ad-hoc analysis.
- Learn and use financial systems including NetSuite, Excel, and Power BI.
- Assist with market research and benchmarking studies.
- Maintain financial records in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate or bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration at an accredited institution.
- Status as a degree-seeking student enrolled at least half-time.
- Understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting principles.
- Strong MS Office skills, specifically advanced Excel capabilities including VB coding.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
- Ability to obtain and maintain eligibility for a NASA credential.

- The role is on-site and full-time.
