About the role#
As a Graphic Design Intern, you will join a creative team to bring ideas to life across digital, print, and environmental design. You will gain experience by contributing to projects that support our employees and the Veterans we serve. You will work alongside experienced designers and marketers, receive mentorship, and sharpen your skills while contributing to real campaigns and company initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Design visual assets for digital marketing, print materials, event support, presentations, and internal communications.
- Brainstorm creative concepts and collaborate with designers and project owners to develop visual solutions.
- Assist with the production and organization of design files, ensuring projects are ready for digital and print delivery.
- Work with designers, project owners, and vendors to take creative ideas from concept to completion.
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand project goals, incorporate feedback, and keep projects on schedule.
- Learn new design techniques, software, and creative processes while contributing to the team.
What you'll need#
- Currently majoring in graphic design, visual communications, digital media, or a related field.
- A portfolio showcasing your creativity, design thinking, and technical abilities.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and balance deadlines.
- Clear communication skills and an openness to feedback.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment while taking ownership of individual projects.

- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- The role is located on-site in Columbia, Missouri.
