About the role#
As a Technical Production Operations Engineer Co-Op, you will support our Production Support Operations team. You will monitor automated processes, identify issues, and help with troubleshooting. This role provides hands-on experience with financial services applications while you work alongside senior team members to improve our internal processes.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and support automated batch processing jobs.
- Assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution under the guidance of senior staff.
- Document technical procedures and keep our knowledge bases up to date.
- Escalate issues when necessary and work with technical teams to find solutions.
- Manage client expectations through clear and professional communication.
- Partner with internal departments to provide support and contribute to issue prevention.
- Participate in shift work, which may include evenings or early mornings as part of our 24/7 support cycle.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a BA or BS degree, ideally in Computer Science or Finance.
- An interest in technical operations and enterprise software support.
- Knowledge or interest in the financial sector.
- Familiarity with MS Windows and SQL.
- Ability to balance multiple competing priorities.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to handle situations resourcefully.
- A self-starter mindset with the judgment to plan and achieve goals.
