About the role#
This student worker position supports the Hemostasis Reference Lab through clerical tasks and special projects. You will work under the direction of the department leader to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, and responding to customer requests.
- Prepare presentations for company leaders.
- Assist with the analysis and resolution of department issues and suggest improvements.
- Identify opportunities to increase process efficiency.
- Support staff with special projects and reports.
- Follow all regulatory, compliance, and standard operating procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, majoring in communications, business, or a health-related discipline.
- High school diploma.
- 1 to 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office products like Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Less than 1 year of experience with integrated HRIS or payroll systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information and work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Detail-oriented approach to ensure data accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service.
- Experience with Ceridian or working in a health care setting is preferred.
